Hello!
I’m Hannah a freelance dance artist based in Bournemouth.
I graduated with a First Class BA in Dance from the Arts University Bournemouth, and trained at Havant and South Downs College. My dance background is diverse, including contemporary, commercial/heels, jazz, ballet, tap, and street dance.
Dance has been a significant part of my life from a young age. I have a huge passion for performance and one of my proudest moments was representing my country at the European Baton Twirling Championships, both as a soloist and as part of a team. These incredible experiences helped shape my skills and love for dance.
I was introduced to Contemporary dance through the Centre for Advanced Training programme (CAT), at The Point, which is a pre-vocational training programme for young people between the ages of 11-16. Contemporary and commercial styles are where my heart truly lies. Since graduating over a year ago, I've had the joy of teaching children aged 5-11 in various primary schools across Dorset. Sharing my love for dance with these young learners and watching their confidence and creativity grow has been incredibly rewarding. I've also had the opportunity to build on my a paid performance portfolio and lead various workshops which has allowed me to connect with even more students and adapt my teaching style to meet their needs.
Dance, to me, is more than just movement - it's a way to express ourselves, build confidence, and have fun. I am so excited be teaching my own sessions and continue to show people the pure joy which comes from moving in the space together!
Thank you for stopping by my website. I can't wait to dance with you soon!
